My partner and I hired Amy because we needed help consolidating after we moved in together into a one-bedroom apartment. Amy helped us cull and consolidate what we owned, and she helped us organize our kitchen and storage in ways that made them much easier to use. She also helped us pare down what we had in a storage unit, which enabled us to downsize that as well. It's hard to be vulnerable and let someone see the ways in which your stuff has run wild, but Amy was great in keeping us motivated and being a neutral party for decluttering.

One night, sitting on the couch... I knew I had to do something about the places in my house that stressed me out. I am a full time working mom with 3 kids. I needed to do something to save my sanity! The laundry room, the storage room, and the kids playroom were all on my list.
I searched for a few organizers and found Amy... and I couldn't be happier with her partnership and support on all of our projects. She did an initial walk through of the spaces before we landed on an agreement. Once we got started she not only recommended products that would fit the space - but she went out and bought them for me to show me what they would look like in my space. She was prepared when we met - with documents that I could review to assess cost tradeoffs for various spaces, drawings of what a final product would look like, and a clear outline of what decisions she needed from me.
Every minute of my time with her was maximized. She not only organized what we have, but once we actually got into purging items she hauled them off for us. I don't have the "donation" bag sitting in my trunk or garage hoping I will remember, because Amy just took care of it. She truly was full service - and my kids loved when she was here - she just has a kind and approachable demeanor. Each space is now organized with a clear system that everyone in the house understands. Couldn't recommend her enough!

I was honestly nervous to hire outside help for our move! It felt vulnerable to let someone into six years of shared belongings. Amy made the whole process feel so much easier than I expected.
She took off a massive cognitive load, much more than just helping us pack. She helped us sort through action items for next session (ie. “Talk to ‘so and so’ about these 3 items), thought through packing orders on what we’d need first after our move, and handled donation coordination. Any vulnerability I had disappeared as she was incredibly respectful with nostalgic items, my (many!) paint supplies, and years of accumulated “life stuff”. My partner would likely call me a low-key hoarder 🙈 whereas he is extremely apt to throw things out - having Amy as a third party made a process that could have been difficult SO simple and easy.
We ended up packed well before our move date. Post-move, we tried hiring a new organizer in NYC, and it just wasn’t the same. She set the bar high!! Recommend

At every step her communication was clear, there were multiple options based on preferences and budget, and Amy did great research and testing of products, putting forward the best options. But the very best part was the installation! She took out the old, and brought in the new! It was so easy and wonderful to work with Amy. And one month out, the closets still look great!
